Yes, Laholm is colder than Silkeborg.
In general, Sweden has a colder climate than Denmark - even in the south of Sweden. Of course there are some places in Sweden with milder climate than some places in Denmark, but in general...
When the cold, northern air comes down, it always has to pass over water in order to reach Denmark. In Sweden, it can flow down over land all the way from the far north.
That contributes to make the climate a little colder even in our region.
For example, there´s quite a big difference in climate between Helsingborg (S) and Helsingör (DK), even though it´s only 4 km between the two towns.
At this time of year, the ocean keeps the temperatures down in our area. When the wind comes from the west, Laholm has lower temperatures than for example Kalmar on the east coast. When the wind comes from the east, it´s the other way around.
