it's very funny to hear abot that ugly palm-haters... :)
But of cause there are very many exotic plant enthusiasts here in Finland. And the best place to meet with others is forum "Klorofylli". As for me I inspired to grow palms etc looking at swedish, danish and norwegian collegues. One third of my palms origined from Kent Egnér, Karlskrona "Egnérs Prydnadsväxter", others from "Europalms" and others from UK EBay.
