Yes , of course we can´t compare the vegetation period...no , what I was concerned about was the location , I wouldn´t like to move the palm around to much so I have to make a decision between a sunnier place but without rainprotection ( no roof above it ) or a semi-shade location but with 70-80 percent rainprotection ( roof above it ) , so that is my main question.

However I find it interesting that the yearly mean temp in in Göteborg and Nürnberg is both 8. something .
