Yep you´re right, im not living in scandinavia, bit i lived there near emmaboda and in täby near stockholm. great country but too dark in winter and only short summer. But the nature?? Fantastic.

Ludwig, yes we have a continantal climate. Warm long summer (not too hot. Average Tmax in city about 25°C) and cold short winter. Tmin this year -16,5°C at airport in the centre -12,3°C.
The last two winters only -8,8°C and -8,9°C.

@Pelle, your definotion is the same as in Germany:
Summerday Tmax over 25°C
Tropic day Tmax over 30°C
Tropic night not under 20°C
