We had a very nice winter. Last winter it snowed for about 40 days (I heard this morning in the radio), this winter only 4 days. Normally we have temperatures up to (or down to?) -10° C during some days. The lowest temperature in Belgium this year was -0,4° C in 4 nights. Today it will become 10° C. Even the bananas Musa basjoo have still green trunks without any winter protection.

The seeds of Trachycarpus fortunei are getting blue. Normally this happens after the first frost, but now it took so long.
