Johan, it depends on where you collected the frökapslar, but the most like chance is you having collected Eucalyptus camaldulensis (it is the most common species in the country). If that is the case, unfortunately, there are little chances for it to be hardy in non Mediterranean climates.

This said, my friend Ashley has been photographing the first 340 days of Eucalyptus cultivation, from seed to seedling. Could give you some inspiration.
